ABOUT
Raise the Bar PDX was softly established in 2019, after John-Paul was asked to create a menu of custom cocktails for a special event in Portland, Oregon. After establishing himself as a party host extraordinaire, 2020 began and hit us with the pandemic we are all currently living through. With a bit of extra time on their hands, Haley and John-Paul started talking about how else their new business could grow in such an uncertain time, and the idea of the Quarantini Project was born.
The Quarantini Project started one of the most important parts of Raise the Bar PDX- that 10% of all proceeds would be donated to causes that need it. This continues with all Raise the Bar PDX projects, and has been one of the most fulfilling parts for the Stufflebean-Ortega family.
Haley and John-Paul share a passion for new cocktail recipes, fun and interesting simple syrups, and locally sourced ingredients, as well as creating an individualized and memorable experience for every customer they meet.
Haley and John-Paul have been married since June of 2019, and when they're not slinging drinks and cooking up new syrups, they spend their time hiking, snuggling their two precious cats, and raising the coolest kid around.
